Shared Kitchen Dinner Series
In one year Cross Town Kitchens Held 6 dinners at 5 participating restaurants to raise money for The Stop. At each event, each restaurant provided a course in a five-course meal, with no restaurant doing the same course twice. The events were held at Perigee, Amuse-Bouche, C5, and Torito Tapas Bar.
The sixth dinner was held to commemorate the opening of the Stop’s new Green Barn at the renovated historic Wychwood streetcarbarns. The dinner was held outside in the beautiful gardens of the Green Barn. The dinner was all prepared in the community kitchen, where the Stop holds classes and events to raise money for their community members.
This was a great campaign and allowed dinners to experience tasting menus from five restaurants at six different locations. It also allowed patrons to witness different chefs from different cultural backgrounds working together in harmony for a noble cause.
Through this series Cross Town Kitchens raised over $25,000 for The Stop Community Food Centre.
